If you consider yourself a big The Witcher fan and want a more sophisticated, respectable vacation than roaming Amsterdam or some other boozy cruise, then consider taking a short trip to Italy Witcher 3: Wild Hunt – Music from the continent performance might be for you.
Taking place at the Lucca Comics and Games Festival in Italy, the show features a full symphony concert dedicated entirely to CD Projekt Red’s world-renowned fantasy franchise. Once you’re done, there’s also the rest of an already beautiful country to explore, so know there’s always the opportunity to make a full blown vacation out of it.
There are actually some impressive names behind the performance that can prick up your ears. The evening’s conductor is Eimear Noone, a big name in video game soundtracks of some time, responsible for some massive tracks in games like World of Warcraft, Legend of Zelda and more. She’s also an award-winner, having received the Hollywood Music in Media Award for her work, which is quite a big deal!
Who will actually perform the music will be musicians from Orchestra Giovanile Italiana from Fiesole together with Polish folk metal band Percival Schuttenbach. An Italian youth orchestra and metal band in perhaps the most Witcher-sounding line-up I’ve ever heard of.
It’s all in celebration of CD Projekt Red’s 20th anniversary, and you can see it for yourself for €30 on the cheap end, or €59 if you’re a high roller.
If you want to see it live let us know below! If not, why don’t you tell us your favorite track from the Witcher series anyway? No need to be left out.
