Republican nominee for Arizona Governor Kari Lake

In the next paragraph there is a quote from Kari Lake, the Republican nominee for Governor of Arizona, and after reading it I want your best effort Not Laugh.

When asked in a recent interview what she would say to former President Barack Obama if she happened to meet him, Lake said in part, “I think I would tell him … I was so disappointed in him when he wasn’t.” worked to bring us together.”

Spit, take!

I understand of course. We’re talking about Kari Lake, who currently plays Bonnie for Donald Trump’s Clyde (or is it Marge for his homer?), and whose entire campaign is based on division, revenge and hostility. And she regrets that Obama “didn’t work to bring us together”?

you chuckle I can hear you.

Kari Lake devastated Mexicans, insulted Jews…

Probably because you remember Lake mimicking Trump’s anti-Mexican tirade by saying, “I’m just going to repeat something President Trump said a long time ago and it got him in a lot of trouble. They bring drugs. They bring crime. And that’s rapists, and that’s what’s coming across our border. That’s fact.”

Was that a giggle? A snort?

On the track: Kari Lake wants Katie Hobbs to retire from voting duties

Is it because Lake repeats anti-Semitic tropes about George Soros to stoke her anti-Semitic support? Or that she supported (and then withdrew her endorsement) Jarrin Jackson, Republican nominee for the Oklahoma State Senate, who said there was a conspiracy to “get rid of white people” and that “LGTBQ is the gateway to pedophilia”?

I clearly hear laughter.

Probably because Lake proudly endorses and endorses Arizona State Senator Wendy Rogers, a conspiracy buff who befriends white nationalists, promotes QAnon madness, supports Alex Jones over the parents of murdered children in Sandy Hook, and a photo of herself himself tweeted alongside a dead rhino branded with the Star of David.

… and Indians and …

The same Kari Lake whose collaborator and “main person” tweeted about an artist’s depiction of human sacrifice in her Happy Indigenous People’s Day campaign.

And Lake is disappointed Obama?

I’m pretty sure you’re giggling.

Finally, this is Lake, who said of returning to a pre-statehood abortion ban that would land doctors and others in jail, “I’m incredibly excited that we’re going to have a great law that’s already on the books … . It will ban abortions in Arizona except to save a mother’s life. And I think we will pave the way and set the course for other states to follow.”

… “McCain Republican” and …

And Lake, threatening to arrest all federal OSHA officers coming into Arizona just as she threatened all sorts of crazy stuff about the border and said she could “fire the federal government” like she’s getting off break up the union.

And Lake, who said of other Republicans, “We drove a stake through the heart of the McCain machine,” recently told all the “McCain Republicans” in the room where she was speaking to fuck off.

Lake, who wants to cut off health care for thousands of Arizonans by repealing the Affordable Care Act.

Lake preaching revenge on those who tried to save lives during the worst of the COVID-19 pandemic.

… spread the big lie about … Hillary

Lake still spreading the big lie that the 2020 election was stolen.

Lake, who even referred to the insane conspiracy theory that Hillary Clinton murders people, recently saying, “I was a little concerned today seeing Hillary put me down. I want you to know that I am in excellent health, my brakes are in good condition in my car and I am not suicidal.

Oh what the hell.

Go ahead, laugh at yourself, you know.
