Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 Hero of Justice Pack 1 is coming later this week

Although Bandai Namco will be available for six years, Bandai Namco is not ending its support for Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 any time once Hero of Justice Pack 1 is released for players who want more Dragon Ball great Contents. As with previous content releases, the pack will introduce new characters from the recent film in the form of Gamma 1, Gamma 2 and Gohan. Dragon Ball Super: Superhero, along with a ton of other content for you to enjoy. It will also have a ton of extra content for players to dig into, although the new characters seem to be the main focus of the new pack.


Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 was originally released in October 2016, which was a relatively short turnaround for a sequel after the February 2015 release Dragon Ball Xenoverse. The game continued the long line of 3D fighting games set inside dragon ball Universe where players can fight as some of the series’ most iconic characters in highly destructible environments to capture the feel of the anime. Narratively, it picks up after the first game and follows the player’s character as they venture through time to stop two demons who are trying to mess up the series’ story by helping the many villains against whom Goku and his friends fought.

As mentioned above, the focus is on the latest content pack Dragon Ball Super: Superhero and brings in three of the film’s biggest characters. The androids Gamma 1 and Gamma 2 are the latest characters to join the fight, while the film’s portrayal of the adult Gohan is the latest variant of the character alongside other versions including the teenage Gohan from the Cell Saga and The Great Saiyaman. Additional content available includes four new quests, new abilities, new costumes, and more for players to enjoy.

Dragon Ball Super: Superhero Released in June 2022, the film is only the second film in great‘s continuity after the 2018 release Dragon Ball Super: Broly. The movie, similar to Xenoverse 2Drawn heavily from the franchise’s history, with nods to the Red Ribbon Army saga from the original dragon ball series along with the Android Saga and the Cell Saga Dragon Ball Z. It also served to give Gohan and Piccolo a much-needed power boost in the form of Gohan Beast and Orange Piccolo to help the characters stand alongside Goku, Vegeta, and Broly as they continue to grow stronger.

Once Hero of Justice Pack 1 is released, the question arises as to what Bandai Namco might include in Pack 2. Bandai Namco has a lot to offer Dragon Ball Super: Superhero. Piccolo and Cell Max are two of the more likely character options available for a second content pack based on the film. There are plenty of others to choose from though, including a young Pan, cop Krillin, an older Android 18, or Fat Gotenks if Bandai Namco wants to add some humor to the game.

Dragon Ball Xenoverse 2 is currently available for Nintendo Switch, PC, PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
